What They Say About Kids 4 Kids
“Kids 4 Kids was a watershed experience for my Sunday School kids. The video opened up an experience of life so different from theirs, and they really engaged with the day-to-day realities of the poor. The kids were empowered to be active, and rather than feeling guilty ... they were motivated to see how their resources can help others.”
- Jude Waldron, Syndal Baptist, Vic.

Meet Azijul, Taniya and Naseema from the slums of New Delhi and see how Sharan, a local organisation, is working with their community to bring hope to the people who live under the bridge. Teaching materials are only available as a free to download PDF (scroll down the page for linked file).
Note: Since the original filming of this documentary, Azijul, Taniya & Naseema have grown up. The basti under the bridge that was their home was eventually closed down by the city authorities. The families who lived there were relocated. TEAR partners in India, such as Saahasee (formerly Sharan), EFICOR, Muneer, Elysion, Emmanuel Hospital Association and Oasis, continue to work alongside people like Azijul and his family, as they develop ways to tackle poverty and injustice in their own communities. Through our relationships with Indian partners, and with the communities in which they work, we continue to learn about the problems poor and marginalised people face, and how we can best act to see change.
