A House Without Walls
Read Ephesians 2:11-18
Ephesians is about the struggle within history to realise God's cosmic plan for the "reconciliation of everything." It focuses on the conflict between Christ's inauguration of peace and the Powers' perpetuation of enmity (see Ephesians 1:9-21). At the heart of this struggle is the Church, having inherited Christ's vocation of peacemaking.

Awaken the Dawn
Since 1982, local Christians have been working in Teso, Uganda, to bring development and a new dawn to poor rural communities.
Through the destruction of war, civil insurgency and the quiet despair of the HIV/AIDS epidemic, Vision Terudo and the Development Secretariat of the Pentecostal Assemblies of God have responded to crisis after crisis with what can only be described as "grace under fire".
Babylon or New Jerusalem?
Bible Study from Target Magazine, 2007-2
For the first time in human history, more people live in cities than in rural areas. In this context, how does the call of Jeremiah 29:7, to “seek the peace and prosperity of the city”, compare with Revelation's call to flee Babylon? Which is ‘the Word’ for you or our society today?
Basti Life
Families become paper-bag makers for survival and have to contend with unfair shopkeepers, debt collectors, and other hazards of slum life. It also explores the possibilities of positive social change through community development work in a Basti.

Beyond Survival Kit
This resource kit comes with everything you'll need to explore the ways in which God’s people can work with poor, marginalised communities to help them move beyond bare survival and experience some of the ‘fullness of life’ that God offers.
Beyond Survival Video
Clinging to near-vertical slopes in the remote and mountainous Mugu District in western Nepal are some of the poorest communities in the world.
Here only 5.1% of women can read, compared to the Nepal average of 22%. Infant mortality is 201 per thousand, compared to 7–8 per thousand in Australia and 17 per thousand for Australian Aborigines. Life expectancy in Mugu is only 36 years!
