Fundraising Content Creator | maternity cover until Sept 2018

Part-time 3 days | fixed term contract

Tell stories of hope which inspire TEAR supporters and potential supporters to give generously to the work of our implementing partners.  Fixed term contract covering maternity leave until September 2018.  TEAR is committed to gender equality; this role can also be worked flexibly over four days per week within school hours.

Is this you?

  • You’re a born storyteller; when you write you bring readers on a journey so compelling that they want to be a part of it.
  • You’re confident communicating across multiple platforms; you’re the master of engaging people through video, social media, email and print in a way that empowers and challenges them.
  • You want to see heaven on earth; your goal is to make sure that every Christian in Australia is challenged and empowered to make biblically-shaped responses to poverty and injustice.
  • You show great initiative; you proactively anticipate needs before they arise and you produce the excellent work even when the pressure is on.
  • You’re a guru on fundraising copy; whether it’s a funding proposal to a major donor or compelling calls to action from supporters or potential supporters, your content is inspirational and empowering.
  • You pride yourself on your excellent negotiation and relationship building skills, you value others and work collaboratively to gather stories while respecting the priorities of your colleagues.
  • You have an eagle eye for detail and everyone knows it!  You understand how the little things ultimately impact the big things, everything you do is completed with excellence.
  • You know that TEAR has its own voice and your passion for justice will help us inspire supporters to live out our mission - that everyone can reach their God-given potential.
