Your job

Are you passionate about addressing poverty and injustice in our world? Do you thrive on interacting with and inspiring others? Are your motivated to achieve targets? We are seeking someone with drive and a hunger for achieving personal and team targets through building an effective outbound calling team to develop our supporters’ relationships with TEAR and to encourage financial support.

You will facilitate effective and practical training and coaching for Supporter Development Officers, set campaign performance metrics with support from the Head of Fundraising, and seek to improve underperformance through carefully targeted remedial support.

You will:

  • Have active Christian faith and a strong commitment to TEAR’s Christian mission, values and ethos
  • Have the ability to encourage others in their faith and justice journeys, and to influence supporters to provide financial support to TEAR as a meaningful and impactful way to respond to global poverty and injustice
  • 1+ years previous supervisory experience ideally in customer service or donor service environments
  • Ability to lead people while being calm and assertive; always leads by example
  • Be self-motivated and tenacious, with enthusiasm and energy
  • Have the ability to thrive in, enjoy and embrace a sales-like environment
  • Have a demonstrable track record achieving targets
  • Have strong interpersonal skills – warm, empathetic and outgoing
  • Be adaptable and flexible in your approach to work
  • Have the ability to work in TEAR’s National Office, and from home when required
