For most people “home” is more than a place to live; it’s a place of belonging and of family, and for many a source of livelihood and security within a community. For many people in northern Sri Lanka during 2009, their sense of home was destroyed as the Sri Lankan army and Tamil Tiger troops fought their battles through fields, villages and roads.
