TEAR's Partnerships with Australia's First Peoples

TEAR provides support to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples who are working to achieve their potential and gain greater control over their own affairs.

We are committed to supporting programs that come from our long term relationships in Indigenous communities. Among these are:

Moorditj Keila

Moorditj Keila is an Aboriginal Community Organization based in the City Of South Perth. They work to strengthen and support their community through a range of projects. TEAR is partnering with them on an new initiative to help young people gain their driver’s licenses.

Strong Women Talking, Marigurim Mubi Yangu

A grass roots movement of First Nations women who are passionate about breaking the cycle of violence caused by domestic and family violence and sexual abuse.

Hope for Health

A community-led project on Elcho Island in the Northern Territory. Using health retreats, health coaching and regular medical checkups, Hope for Health is improving community wellbeing and vitality.
